On the hunt for date night ideas at home? Keep that spark alive with some fun ideas that you can do at home ; of course after the kids are asleep. Rather than feeling like your hands are tied with these obstacles we have right now; consider the follow date night ideas.
My favourites include:
Game night by play a board or card game not online gaming, really connecting with your partner/opponent.
Order “Take-Out” by candle light over low music and conversation. This will help support your local businesses and not to mention keep you out of the kitchen.
Have a Tasting Party by buying a few different wines, whiskies, or even root beers and do a tasting. Sip ‘em and savor the flavors; discuss your favourites.
Have a Picnic. Spread out a blanket and serve the ultimate cheese board—it works even in your living room. Light candles to set the mood.
Make up your Bucket List or research on future travels. Too often in life we get caught up in our day to day business ; time just slips right past us. I’m sure for most of us there are places we dream of going , things we’d like to do or accomplish. This epidemic will subside and things will get back to normal one day.
Put a puzzle together. Challenge yourselves to a huge puzzle and see if you can figure it out in one night.
Challenge each other to a cook off by choosing a specific course to each create.
Get crafty by choosing some sort of craft or DIY project to tackle together.
Have a throwback night and watch some home videos and look through old photo albums.
With a tiny bit of forethought you can turn a night at home into something extra special, memorable and very romantic!
